WHY MERINO WOOL
Merino wool is natures own high performance material and much more fit for athletic activities than regular wool. It is grown by New Zealand Merino sheep that have developed the softest and finest fleece that is moisture wicking, anti-bacterial and able withstand temperatures ranging from -20 C° cold up to +20 C° warm.
RWS-CERTIFIED
Aune cares about the wellbeing of sheep all over the world and will only choose to work with RWS-certified wool.
RWS is an ethical standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. The RWS certificate only applies to fabrics that contain 100% virgin wool and verifies the best practices in animal welfare and land management that farmers are implementing including handling, nutrition, medical treatments, and sustainable land management.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Merino Wool has natural bacterial and dirt resistance and does not need to be washed after every use. Frequent washing actually has a negative effect on the wool’s properties and unnecessarily wears down the garment. Instead, air your wool garments to reduce your water usage, save energy and make your garments last longer
